Floor, power and a path in. Plan about 10×10 ft of level floor per station, two dedicated 120V circuits, and a route road cases can roll. The rest comes with us.
Checklist for a Memphis room
- Floor: about 10×10 ft per station plus a lane for the line. In a small Beale Street club, the line usually needs more planning than the station.
- Power: two dedicated 120V/20A circuits per station. At Renasant Convention Center the electrical is ordered through the venue before the show. In a hotel ballroom, check that the circuit isn't shared with catering. Outdoors, tell us what the generator can really carry.
- Load-in: a dock, freight elevator or lift. The convention center runs move-in on a marshalling schedule, so get us that window in writing. Beale Street closes to vehicles in the evening, so gear has to be inside before then.
- Cover outdoors: shade and a roof over the press. A humid Memphis afternoon under a tent gets hot fast, and a wet blank won't print.
What we bring
Presses, dryers, heat presses, ink, blanks from XS to 4XL, tables and the printers. It all ships freight from Fullerton, 1,584 straight-line miles away, and the crew lands a day before load-in, so a tight move-in window at the convention center gets planned weeks out.
