We freight the presses to your venue and print on the floor while guests wait. For Memphis the kit leaves our Fullerton shop well ahead, the crew flies in the day before load-in, and each guest waits about two minutes for a shirt once the line opens.
The four stages of a Memphis job
- Brief and proofs. You send the date, the venue, a headcount and your art. We proof it and make the screens or transfers at the shop, so nothing gets designed on the day.
- Freight and flights. Memphis is 1,584 miles from Fullerton in a straight line. Presses, dryers, blanks and tables go by freight, and the crew arrives a day early in case a truck runs late.
- Load-in and a test print. At Renasant Convention Center that means a dock time and a drayage slot. Beale Street closes to cars in the evening, so there we cart the gear in before it does. Either way the station is built and tested before doors.
- The live run. Guests choose a design and a size, watch it printed and walk off wearing it. When your program ends, we strike and pack the return freight.
The same setup works in a FedExForum suite, a hotel ballroom near the river, a Cooper-Young brewery or an open lot. Outside in a Memphis summer we bring shade, since humid heat slows the crew and damp blanks print badly. Date changes are easiest with two weeks' notice because of the freight. Tell us about your event and we'll map the setup.
