Set out a wall of caps and a tray of patches, add one heat press and a printer, and you have a custom hat bar (plenty of people call it a patch bar). The guest picks a cap, trucker or dad-hat style from the blanks you've chosen, picks from the patches we made for your event, and watches us press it on. In Memphis it fits the places a screen press can't go: an arena suite, a courtyard off Overton Square, a label party in a small room.
There's no ink and not much noise, so it behaves in a room where the power is shared, and a cap somebody designed themselves feels like more than a giveaway at a corporate night. Caps, patches and the press ride freight from Fullerton; the crew flies in a day early.
What goes into a Memphis hat bar
- A cap wall: styles and colors picked to match your brand.
- Custom patches: your logo plus a few event designs, like a 901 patch or a river-and-bridge mark next to the logo.
- Pressing on the spot: a crew member finishes each cap while the guest waits.
- A setup that photographs well, from Downtown & Convention Center to Overton Square.
Memphis hat bar Q&A
Do you do felt cowboy hats?
No. The Memphis hat bar is caps and patches. We don't carry felt western hats or do any shaping or branding on brims, so what shows up is a cap wall, your patches and a heat press.
Can we have a Memphis-themed patch?
Yes. Next to your logo, a few event designs work well, like a 901 patch or a river-and-bridge mark. Send the art and we'll build the patch menu around it.
Can the hat bar go in a FedExForum suite or a room on Beale Street?
Yes. There's no ink and it's quiet, so it suits a suite, a VIP room or a label party. On Beale Street we load in early, before the street closes to cars for the evening.
